Illinois Passes Sports Agent Registration Act

The Chicago Tribune reported today that Illinois Governor Quinn signed into law a sports registration act. Many states have similar in place and under the Illinois law, set to go into effect on Jan. 1,2011, sports agents must register with and be licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
